America has been blessed, although that blessing is faded and diminished thanks to the lefty insanity so prevalent today.

I really don't understand the "majority of the men considered as Founding Fathers were Christians" argument. Personally I agree - however these same men decided to separate church and state.

"Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof."

Nothing could be clearer. "Make no law - respecting - an establishment of religion". Won't make a law establishing a religion nor make a law respecting an ESTABLISHED religion.

Very clear - religion one thing - Government another. Keep religion away from the government. I think even the evangelical Harriet Miers probably understands this and may in fact rule things like abortion legal under the constitution despite her private convictions.
