Are you out of your mind? The progressives on this thread and others make very clear, concrete points. You're so full of propaganda that you cannot comprehend anything but rightwing talkingpoints. Do you realize that you're unbalanced? 1. The Bush administration lied about WMDs (aluminum tubes, yellowcake, tramp steamers, drones, biological weapons trucks, megatons of WMDs between Tikrit and Baghdad NSEW somewhat, etc. etc. etc.) which you keep forgetting. That's a lie about war. 2. The Bush administration said this war would be over in a week and a half AND would cost $1.7 billion because the Iraqis would great us as liberators and start pumping out oil to pay for reconstruction. 3. The Bush administration said major combat operations had ended 2.5 years ago. They just recently said the insurgency is in its last throes while the military says the insurgency cannot be defeated by them AND it has become more sophisticated, coordinated and lethal. In the meantime Afghanistan, premier narco-state, is limping towards civil war...that's what the British military says. 4. The Bush administration said, and sometimes still says, that Iraq was directly connected to 911, Atta and whatever they could throw in. They keep telling THE BIG LIE that Iraq is about terrorism which is the fallback lie since the WMD lie was proven as a LIE. AQ, since 911, has expanded into some 40 countries and likely become independent cells which are impossible to track. Iraq has also become the training ground for the class of 2005 terrorists who will likely take their training and go out of country to wreck havoc in the decades to come. Meanwhile convicted felon Chalabi is the most powerful secular presence in Iraq. Peachy. How much do you think Chalabi is stealing? Do you think he received a chunk of the $8.8 BILLION missing under Bremmer? How about the missing $1 BILLION from the Ministry of Defense? Eh? Huh? Whazza? 5. The Bush administration lets the Credit Card industry write an onerous bankruptcy bill without dealing with usurious rates and predatory marketing, it lets BigOil secretly write the energy bill, it lets BigPharma write the arm-twisted medicare bill and then lied about its costs to Congress, etc. etc. This makes the Bush administation not only corrupt but a corrupt fascist administration. 6. The Bush administration is heavily tied to the dirty dealings of Safavian, Abramoff and Delay all of whom have been indicted for criminal activities. 7. The Bush administration took Clinton's surpluses and turned them into the biggest deficits we've ever seen with no end in sight. This drunken sailor reckless spending even has some Republicans up in arms. 8. The Bush administration gives and wants to give even more tax breaks for the top 1/10th of 1% in this country (which of course includes themselves) while it cuts benefits for veterans, fails to provide armor for soldiers and actually billed Iraqi vets for their hospital stay meals. 9. The Bush administration stole two elections and is slated to steal more unless they are stopped. They are the enemy of democracy. 10. The Bush administration is likely already starting a small scale war with Iran and Syria without approval and without the money and troops to back it up. The Bush administration has seen windfall personal profits (Cheney has made nearly $8 MILLION while in office) from war and oil price hikes and they intend to make much, much more by conducting a full-blown ME regional war. 11.
