Peter, if you look at other countries that have repealed prohibition you can see exactly what will happen. Drug use, of course will spike some but immediately after that it declines....and keeps declining right along with all the crime associated with drugs. As far as people losing their inhibitions and trying drugs I don't think that you'd see that much at all. Look at it this way, after the education blitz about the dangers of cigarette smoking how many kids you see trying their first cigarettes.

As far as anarchy goes, talk to any narcotics officer, he'll tell you that anarchy is alive and well in our inner cities and thanks to prohibition for the most part the drug gangs run the streets. Please, keep exploring the LEAP site, I've yet to go through the whole thing but every click makes me more adamant about repeal.
