Do you know what "hurt the little guy - east or west."? Lack of opportunity. China is providing opportunity to the proverbial little guy. Hence they are doing the right thing.

Lets be prgamatic here: Where's people concerned about the little not asking to cut tariff barriers ending agriculture subsidies?

Have you seen Bush thinking about regime change in Africa?

Have you seen these Eruopeans stopping doing business with African regimes because of corruption and misguided economic policies?

I'm not saying that because I read books in a library, I'm writng that because I was the little guy 30 years ago. I was in Africa 9 years, Indonesia, 4 years, Malaysia 1 year, Saudi Arabia 1 year, Thailand one and a half years.

I've been there and I saw all the "efforts" to raise the little guy out of poverty. Hey, and I also have had 31 years in Brazil.

Hello Frank, welcome, finally.

Message 21812786 <<hello ... frankly>> and <<... come on brian, frankly,>> ... I figured as much.

Excuse me for the remainder of this note, a dollop of energy one must expect from on-line Unreal Tournament Deathmatch posting, very engergizing, good for the circulations and movements.

<<you basically said to pay it zero attention because he was not a chinese in china right? >>

eh? if that was a question, then the answer is no, as in wrong, translated to of course not.

In a lot of ways you track brian h pretty well, always putting thoughts into my words. Must be the water.

I said precisely (a) Message 21809397 and (b) siliconinvestor.com

I am glad that is settled.

As to the rest, way too primal, and choked with contradictions about what you think I said and what you believe I am saying.

I said what I precisely said, and nothing more, with properly selected and carefully considered adjectives and embedded nuances.

As to <<More accountability, more representation, more MEDIA freedom, less CENTRAL non accountable government - less beatings of dissenters - less media blackouts>>

Amen, and precisely how do you hope to encourage this process along?

Oh, yes, by incubating, educating, expanding, and strengthening a middle class, so that some allies can be grouped, perhaps? If not, then you are on the wrong path.

If so, then I have no argument, and believe the process is well under way, trending correctly, and more firmly with each pasing day, because of what I observe, take on board, participate in, and triangulate to.

And guess what, none of it involves anything specifically happening tomorrow or the next day. Reality is just that, being real.

This is why the journey is long, requiring work, and at the foundation level, a concept not familiar to the many. Too bad.

Letting go of one handhold and not able to grab at another is sometimes necessary, but rarely so, especially when the next handhold is coming within reach, and the wellness of the many will be better served if the dark desires of the few are not satiated. Else, why, we have the Russian model of reform, and the India example of development.

You do see that do you not?

Chugs, J
