Yes, we do eat out every evening and I am very lucky that my husband agrees to do it.

We have many friends that eat their evening meal out also and sometimes we all get together for dinner. Gives us a chance to catch up on their news and share ours. We really have a good time and enjoy our meals. We have met a lot of people who became friends also, just by eating at the same places and will share a table with them when we see them.

After I had cancer, I was not strong enough to stand up and prepare a meal at first, but after I got strong enough to do it, my husband said it was much easier for us to eat out and I was happy to do it and not have to spend all that time in the kitchen in the evenings.

I usually dress up for dinner and it also keeps me aware of my appearance. If I don't feel like dressing up that day, we dress in jeans and go to a restaurant where dress is mostly casual.
