TJ, As you say, houses have increased, until the last report. Which I suspect has now stopped. Apartments are houses in another form and when they drop in price, the people wondering whether to get an apartment or a house opt for the apartment. That causes house prices to fall.

Rents have been dropping in apartments particularly, and the same principle will apply to houses.

Mqurice
