I supported Poppa Bush's war to restore Kuwait to it's undemocratic rulers (but who cares what I supported?). You might imagine my idea of fighting terror is to do nothing (but who cares what you imagine?), but I don't happen to think strengthening America's airport security, port security, and border security is "nothing", nor do I think going after terror by concentrating on international monetary flows is "nothing", nor do I think focusing on conduit countries is "nothing". I also would like to see more safety planning regarding chemical plants and refineries, and things of that nature. We could, of course, just assume the government is safeguarding these sorts of facilities, but I don't think we can assume that. I don't think of that kind of planning as "nothing" and it's too bad you do- which would follow from the remarks you made in your post.
