You can say that no "idea" exists in the real world because you can always find gaps between the "idea" and the real. However it remains true that in the real world, communist governments exist regardless of whether they realize all the "idea" of communism. And the communist governments which have existed have been hellaciously evil, killing over 100M people in the past century. Unfortunately, many liberals are still enthralled with the communist "idea" and seek to defend by denying the reality.
