I knew an illegal alien from Canada.
She was actually quite shocked when she got a traffic ticket and they deported her.

Actually, now that you mention it, back in the 1990s, there were Irish au pairs working in Boston illegally. I wonder if that's still true. Since then, Ireland has boomed and there are more jobs back home.
