Peter, that argument really doesn't hold water either when you compare pot with cigarettes. With pot the amount of times you need to inhale, (3 or 4 times to get a nice buzz), are very small whereas most cigarette smokers do so throughout their day. I've yet to meet a pot smoker that wakes in the morning and commences smoking all day until they sleep at night (of course I don't know any Rastafarians)<g>. The vast majority of people I know that use pot do so much as one would take a few drinks after work. I don't know anyone that's in the habit of getting stoned before they go to work.

Before you hit me with the cancer side, I just read an article where scientist are starting to believe that marijuana has some anti-cancer agents in it too. Yes, pot has most of the crap that cigarettes do except for one important substance, physically addictive nicotine, which most scientist agree is the big cancer trigger.
