We have been through a lot of hell for what amounts to years now. We not only have been beaten down, we even attack our own. Well some do. Not me. Go ahead and kick my ass. You'd better kill me in the process.
Otherwise I'll come back at you. That is what I think America will do the the Wingers soon.
Their paybacks will be a living hell for them.

Remember where you stand today.
I will.

Kerry did not trust Bush. But Pat Roberts on the Intel Committee in the Senate was giving Kerry and others the same doctored intel Powell showed the UN. In other words, fabrications. Which may be why the CIA was so pissed they demanded a prosecutor on the Plamegate case.

Dean was against the invasion, but had no particular reason why he was against it. He didn't know the intel was false either. Also, DEan did not have to vote. Being against it was easy for him and he could have changed his views if he wanted to.

Kerry told us in 2002 (privately) that he knew Bush was going to invade no matter what and there was no way to stop him, that Saddam needed to be disarmed, so the best DEms could do was to apply pressure to make sure the invasion planning was done right and that we take the time to prepare-prepare-prepare so as to protect the lives of our troops and make the invasion and transfer of power successful. He repeated this view many times. Read his Hardball interviews before the invasion. He was 100% right. He said wait six months and prepare, build a coalition, bring in the UN, do it right. What's the rush?
