these arbitrary bans are just antithetical to the whole purpose of SI which is to encourage debate and sharing of information. That was its original purpose. Now its purpose is to separate the radical left from everybody else and give them safe houses to spew their inanity. When all you hear is yourself and echos, it's easy to believe you have something worth thinking. Heck, that's what Hitler and Stalin did. Only difference is that here they use bans to stifle dissent, and back then they used guns.
