Thanks, Paul......good info. That is what prompted me to write last Thursday morning that the building bearish sentiment is great, if we are to have a bottom that will last for more than just a few days.

Any idea what the current Commitment of Traders report says? And the Specialist Short Interest on the NYSE? I've been trading lately off sheer price-action so have not paid attention to any of the above. That's been great for trading stocks like Google and Sandisk and CME but sooner or later the market tone does have an effect!

The NYA, where the bulk of institutional trades and program trading occurs, is still dicey however. Its still basically now sitting right on its lesser support line after failing the first. Support held so far today. We'll see.

thats just incredible Paul. In the 90s, iow a real bull market, any P/C over 1 was a screaming buy. How far we've fallen, where a P/C in the 1.70s range can still mean the market is not a buy.
