Did others of other religions "correct" you, or was it just one? No religion corrected me. A person did, a poster who happened to have greater insight on the usage of that word than I. That person had been posting with me enough on that thread to know my penchant for critical thinking and word usage and that of others posting there so he brought my lapse to my and the thread's attention. At least that's the context as I remember it. It was a long time ago, but I don't recall anything about any general complaint among Muslims over the generic use of the word, "clergy." I do recall the thread finding the subject interesting and educational. And I always appreciate being corrected when my thinking is so sloppy.
