I think we will know the answer to both my question and yours in a year or so.

The FarSideLeft is so vocal, that the moderate Dems don't and can't say much and be heard.

The FarRight Conservatives grab the mic as well, and so do the moderate Repubs....To the casual observer on the outside, it would appear that the FarRight Conservatives run the party (abortion issue seems to be prime for them, plus Dobson issues, Bucanan issues, etc) Most moderates are more ...well, "moderate"...

I don't know. I just hope we don't split the party again, aka Perot. That didn't do anyone any good, did it? And we voted for him, unfortunately. We ended up with Clinton.
