Maybe hacks need to be proportionally represented on the Court...the old Carswell argument.

I do know there is no constitutional requirement of such representation.

It is my opinion that until some evidence is brought to light that Harriet Miers deserves the same benefit of doubt that others receive. She appears to be at least as qualified as many who have preceded her. It is my opinion that she should be granted the right to a confirmation hearing.
