But I think you play limit and that can get kind of boring. I play mostly no limit or pot limit, and the thought of sudden poverty keeps me interested. <G> Party decided to go it alone, so it "roped off" the skins. Now, if you click on Empire or Coral Eurobet or Intertops, you still play on the Party platform, but players registered to Party do not join your table. Since Party has about 85% of the total, that means the skin games have lost a lot of player traffic, one of the main things that made them appealing. Empire and Coral still offer good sign on bonus and a lot of fat reloads (I don't know much about Intertops) and have great money security. Empire is listed on the London Stock Exchange and is a very profitable company. Coral was just purchased by Gala Gaming, making the combo the third largest bookie in the United Kingdom and a top five casino games operator. The former skins, now called the WPC, are not exactly inactive. By themselves, they rank as the 4th largest poker room in the world. That being said, number 4 is much smaller than number one. Folks, such as myself, who could not register at Party before can now do so. That doesn't mean I won't play Empire or Coral when they have a good bonus. But it adds another room to my list, the biggest in the world, at that. Plus, Party offers lots of reloads and other benefits. And a dirty little secret is that the Empire and Coral bettors are smarter than the Party bettors, on average, so the games are tougher without the Party Poker folks. Down the line, Empire will be leaving the WPC, at which point it could get shaky. They will be switching to the Playtech platform offered now by Noble and Titan. Empire owns Noble, so that makes sense. Since the Playtech platform is the best and fastest in the biz, that could be a great move. Whether Coral or Intertops are invited to join them and whether they accept, nobody knows.
