Thing is a woman does have a right too choose what she does with her body - its a liberty/freedom issue.

Not really.
Injecting that body with heroin is against the law.
Selling that body for sex is against the law.
Having that body abandon a hungry baby is against the law.

I think it is good policy for it to not be too easy for the government to execute people and in my opinion the same good sense also carries over to abortion.
