Did Hagel vote against Bush's war powers? What about his 87 billion funding without accountability? Did Hagel stand up in the senate and promise to hold Bush accountable if he mis-leads us and rushes into the war unprepared?

I like Hagel too. He should be the new leader of the GOP. But don't diss Kerry just because he's become a centrist. That's playing into the GOP's hands. The Bushies did everything they could to push Kerry to the left. A candidate on the left usually loses by a landslide nationally. Clinton was a centrist too, remember. Got to get those moderate swingvoters in Missouri.

Too early for me. I kinda like the Governor of Texas or Arkansas who took in and helped the Katrina evacuees when everyone else was jumping in front of the cameras...
