Yes, Kerry was prepared to defend this country, and he needed to make that clear to a country clamoring for revenge for 9-11. But only after taking much more time to fully inspect for WMD and to prepare in case of war AS A LAST RESORT. Finish Kerry's sentences please. You're like a Bushie taking one line out of context.

So you see Kerry never would have invaded, because WMD never would have been found. If he had been president he would have frisked Saddam thoroughly, found nothing, then decided not to invade. Saddam could then have been squeezed and completely defanged so as not to be an imminent danger, and Kerry would have concentrated on Al Qaida and getting us off Arab oil. Kerry also would have gotten much more cooperation from the allies.
