Yet, it's certainly possible to spend less. Use fewer machines, use them less often.

I think your climate must be more clement than ours. In the summer it may be 100 degrees outside, and in the winter zero. I'll let you convert to centigrade.

But I recently learned that we could probably save money with a dehumidifier in the summer, because my husband runs the air conditioner more than is necessary, in order to remove humidity.
