About 30,000 die from the flu in the US every year

Mostly the very young and old, not the healthy in the prime of their life. A flu pandemic like the 1918 flu primarily killed the 24-32 year old demographic as I understand. That's what people don't expect. I didn't, until I started reading about it.

Average number of people killed in US in car accidents is about 40,000 per year. In 2 1/2 years, that would be about 100,000 people.

The number of our Military killed in Iraq in the 2 1/2 year period is approaching 2,000 and people like Moveon and Cindy Sheehan are lying in wait for the number.

Wonder if she has the brains to compare the numbers. All are tragic deaths.

Does she think we should get out of our cars?

100,000 vs 2,000........50 times as many in the same period of time.
