Were they sworn in? Did they volunteer to be sworn in? Did they testify under oath?

It was widely reported in the media at the time that they were not sworn in.

And my point remains valid. There is not much chance of perjury when you are not sworn in.

Weren't they interviewed... but not deposed under oath (out of respect to the offices)?
