NTSB is having a news conference here about our bus accident. While there are some issues here that I'm sure will be brought up in lawsuits it sounds like ultimately this was just a horrible accident and just a damn shame. The big clincher to me was in the recreation done at the same time of night under the best circumstance which was the bus on high beams and not meeting any oncoming traffic the agreed upon recognition of total lane blockage happened at 325'. Don't care what kind of brakes you have or anything else you don't stop 40K of bus in 100 yards when traveling at 68mph.

Think Teressssssa Heinz-Kerry claimed that as well. And Sunday, one of the coaches for the kids soccer team said that he was African-American from South Africa....He's white.

i worked with a black guy from south africa and he claimed he wasn't black.. i was requested to talk to him as we were having a gov audit eeo ? and they were interviewing minorities. I asked him to accept that he is black for the interview. he says ok john but i am not black!

I never went into details with him , a friend in work , helped out my manager, and respected this guys position.

never got any feed back from either person.

Alan, That is one of the things that makes this political correct naming of groups with relationship to their homeland confusing. If he was born in South Africa, regardless of his color, he was born an African. If the black people are called African American, that is wrong, because they were not born in Africa. Keep that up, and white people would be split up, and put in groups like Irish Americans, German Americans, Polish Americans, etc. Then what do those with 5 European bloods, and 2 American Indian tribes, in his veins be called?? That's just getting silly.

Everyone that was born in America, should be called American, and anyone who becomes a legal citizen, should also be called an American. If they were born in another nation, and have not given up that citizen ship, they should be called a, what ever, country where they were born. Most of the black population of America, and not African born, and should not be recognized as shut, and those from south of the border should not be called Hispanics, or Latinos. The are Mexicans, Brazilians, Columbians, etc.
