Exactly. And that increased profit would more than offset their increased cost of paying the raised wage to their over 1 million employees.

It's all about profit.

If minimum wages were increased wal mart could proportionately sell more goods, to the low income class.

I doubt that would make up for the fact that they would have to pay almost all of the employees more, even those not on minimum wage.
