TEOTWAWKI in the Superdome was about race and class.

Inside the vast majority of the population was seen as "them", the scary dudes who are angry about slavery, angry about being poor.

I saw in the Superdome old men, old women, little children, women in labor, people in need, my brothers and sisters.

But the cops and first responders saw an uprising of the Mau Maus.

This is an old old fear. Did you ever read "The Confessions of Nat Turner"? About a slave uprising in Virginia. Revenge isn't pretty, nor is payback.
