maverick,

You can use Interactive Brokers.com to buy TSX issues.

Commission is $.005/share with a minimum commission of $1.00.

IB will automatically convert your $US to $C.

COSWF

The Stockhouse service will give you bid/ask in US dollars (15-minute delay, not significant) and then you can place limit orders in USD for the pink sheet symbol. Some people are scornful of buying the stock this way but it works OK for me. TD Watyerhouse allows accounts that trade directly on the Toronto but I have not used mine yet. I mighty save a few dollars doing that.

But I have no intention of trading COS.UN anyway. I own the certificate myself and have it in a safe deposit box, and every three months I get a check in USD.
