Anyone care to debate this issue?

We have brought it up many times, Geoff. The problem is that almost a two to one majority in this country believe in the Drug laws, and always want them tougher. It's an easy political sale, and suicide for a Pol to go against.

So proving them to be the wrong way to go may be easy, but changing the law is impossible.

Would you elaborate on "legalization and regulation"?

Does "legalization" mean:
1) Any street drug is available at WalMart?
2) Weed is sold at 7-11, everything else at the liquor store?
3) By prescription only?

Does "regulation" mean:
1) By appropriate federal agency? state agency? local?
2) Alcohol/tobacco type taxation on street drugs?
3) Age restrictions?

Also:
1) Overnight implementation?
2) Gradual implementation by drug?
3) Medicare/Medicaid impact?
