Market Gets Hard Hit in Pre-Open Selling: Treasuries were lower overnight on expectations of on going inflationary pressure, and then began tanking across the curve heading into the open. The 10-yrs tumbled; knocking yields to the highest levels since March while the 2-yr yields moved to the highest levels since mid-2001. The market is running in the footsteps of global bonds, which were well lower, with EuroZone issues stumbling as business confidence in the region continues to grow, with Italy posting nearly a year high on the heels of an upside surprise in German confidence yesterday. The market will be bowing to pressure of supply as $20B 2-yrs go to auction today and Federal Reserve rate hikes remain a key shorter-term driver.
