I wonder how many republicans in public office have kids fighting in Iraq.... Oh yes, what's that number again ... zilch or zero or nada. As I recall there are about 5 or 6 congressmen with sons in Iraq and most of them are Republican. The number is not as small as you would think, when you consider the average age of the congressmen, and the percentage of total soldiers in Iraq as elsewhere. Add that to the tendency of congressmen's children to become doctor's and lawyers, the number is not that low.
