"The Congress authorized saddam's removal for a dozen still true reasons."

Not ones anyone remembers, and I don't hear you citing any.

Joseph C. Wilson IV, a former diplomat, said in an Op-Ed article in The New York Times on July 6, 2003, that the White House had "twisted" the intelligence it used to justify the invasion of Iraq. Mr. Wilson traveled to Africa on a mission sponsored by the C.I.A. in 2002 to look into reports that Iraq had acquired nuclear material in Niger. Why Tommy, did the WH have to fudge the threat Iraq posed? I don't presume to know why Bush and his pals were so anxious to go to war with Saddam. But OBL was still (and still is) on the loose and presented the greater danger to the United States. Yet we go to war in Iraq, please explain... I thought OBL and Saudi citizens attacked the U.S., nobody from Iraq though.
