I had EXACTLY that thought about the fuel consumption! 500 laps around a half mile track, 40 some cars going 100 miles an hour....
It really got pretty boring unless they were nudging each other and spinning out, so I started doing math calculations on the fuel.

One of the people on the tour in St Dale was a classical historian, which allowed her to draw lots of parallels to Roman times and the coliseum, etc. Made it more fun.

I quit watching horror movies once I quit dating, and no longer had to impress boys. ;^)

I do occasionally watch horror movies that I think might be aesthetically pleasing, like "The Ring," but usually regret them.

I have no problem with admitting that mindless movies are often not just stupid, but fun. Stupid fun may be fun but it's still stupid.

Speaking of stupid fun, I did like the recent Batman movie. Hated the recent Star Wars movies. Liked Kill Bill.
