It has been a long time since I saw Children of Paradise. I don't remember the ending as being that odd. I did see a rather good noirish, Mementoish movies called "Dot the I" which was quite good. It wasn't perfect, but it was good. And I liked My Summer of Love a lot. For some reason I remembered it being set in France, but Mr. I told me it was the Yorkshire Dales- so much for my memory. I just got back from seeing American Conservatory Theater's Cat On a Hot Tin Roof. Maggie was wonderful, and the rest of the cast was quite good, except for Mae, who wasn't good at all- luckily she wasn't all that important.
