Yeah but we seem to be lagging behind in treatment of bacterial and fungal infections. And I tend to think in many cases those are the common big baddies. Bill Gates Foundation has a near mandate to cure malaria. That would be great and might help babesia too as they are similar :).

I think with RNA therapies, gene therapies, nanotechnologies and stem cells, things will get very interesting in the coming decades.
