I had to set my account up through a Waterhouse brokerage office, in person. I think they call it a 481 or 4810 account because it begins with those numbers. To buy on the Toronto exchange, I have to call a broker and pay a higher commission. I have not yet tried to use it. I continue to use the pink sheets and seem to do pretty well. Over-the-counter trading is a lot betetr than it used to be. For example, just today I put in a limit order for some more OSDSF in a BancAmerica IRA account and got a good price before the close.
