Even Rush got hooked

Everybody who takes narcotics with a heavy enough dose for a long enough period gets hooked. But with a controlled dose that doesn't mean they are high, and may be better than living with the pain the rest of your life. Rush did not want to do surgery because it may hurt his voice.

I'm pretty libertarian and agree but what I don't want is drug addicts sucking on the Govt nipple because of their addictions. I say, if you want get a permit from the Govt to do dope, sign this statement here renouncing all Govt welfare services. Anybody with a permit can't be prosecuted. That's how it should work. Prohibition doesn't work but unfortunately Govt doesn't even know basic 80 year old history.
