I am suggesting that Washington will get away with not honoring trade agreements unless and until someone plays hardball with them. That is what the record has proven has it not? If you have a way of making Washington abide by trade agreemenst then what is it? Perhaps you want Canada to disolve them. I suppose that would be a possibility but what would it solve? I proposed solving the problem and I do not propose a bluff either. IF the US did not act I would shut off oil and natural gas. I suggest in one week's time this dispute would be over. Mish
