I think and at least HOPE systematically that is a more isolated event than what I read about 70K riots in china last year. If that becomes the norm then no I will not think they are better than chinese government oppression and lack of basic respect for basic rights. You know I have idea about coming trend - I went to oktoberfest in St Pete Fla Area few weekends back - there was this old ice cream shop near the beach - I went in - old owners were gone - new owner was single hispanic woman who had 2 kids working in the shop - I said what happen to old owners - she said they couldnt make it (I know why - they had 2 18 year olds they were paying minimum wage paychecks too - this woman had 2 free workers basically in her kids) For nations to grow - economies to grow - populace grows - however I read article on pkarchive that we are not having the INNOVATION we had as far as new major discoveries per capita since the 1600's - we are in decline going into the DARK AGES as far as innovation goes - Population growth charts show that when you get advanced enough you stop having babies - poor people still have babies though. But still I think the overall trends is we will never have the population growth levels we have had the past 50 years - so it only follows that innovation will slow even more as population units slow and possibly decline - so things slow down, less productive work for people to do, more boredom, and I already post the Monkey Story narrated by Raul Julia from south america - do you know it?
