You are confused.

There was never any perjury whose intention was to take us to war. The only perjury under discussion relates to the possibility of perjury during the Fitzgerald investigation. You might recall that it began long after the war was launched.

And perjury and its subornation are still crimes, whether or not, and perhaps especially if, the actor happens to be Prez.
