What a company! Just announced this morning - "WASHINGTON -(Dow Jones)- Lucent Technologies Inc. (LU) disclosed Tuesday that it became aware of an error reported in its fourth-quarter and fiscal year financials last week that will result in an $80 million increase in its pension liabilities and a corresponding reduction in shareowners' equity." It must be hard to get good accountants these days! ... or maybe it's spreadsheet programmers. Makes me wonder why the stock went up 6c yesterday ... the above is most likely the reason it is dropping more than that so far today ... ANON
