Democrats have no campaign finance scandals. As a minor fundraiser for Kerry I can tell you that any check with even a whiff of tit-for-tat about it was immediately returned. Highly ethical.

Also, when entertainers give money they don't expect favors in return like pollution rights, the right to gouge consumers or pork barrel spending. They contribute for altruistic reasons, to make this a better world. That is enough for them.
