Oh and refining capacity has nothing to do with it...?

With the price of crude? Very little. With the price of gas at the pump? More so.....its gives oil companies the possibility of gouging the consumer in two or more places along the oil 'food chain'.

BTW, in your small mind do you also think Bush is responsible for all the hurricanes this year?

Hurricanes were a problem but the increase in oil prices was only temporary. In fact, oil prices currently are on par with the prices that existed prior to the hurricanes hitting in June.

You guys crack me up!

We do? You're the one who lied about Clinton releasing oil from the reserves. Called him Slick Willie in fact.
Interestingly enough, the true slickness has come only from your guys, many of whom may be going to jail for their slickness.

"Oh and refining capacity has nothing to do with it...?"

Well, let's see. I suppose if there was excess refining capacity and they decided they needed to run at full capacity for what ever reason, that could raise the price of crude oil. It is a strange argument for you to make, but ok...
