I agree with your friend, 'white' is a dumb term

It's better than "anglo", which is both too broad and mostly false as a descriptive term for Caucasians.

Heard the other day that sunscreen lotions available in the US only block the UV ray that causes burns but lets the UV ray that causes wrinkles to get through.

I haven't been paying much attention to that debate. I seem to lack the wrinkle gene. But I know that they do have sunscreens now for both UVA and UVB.

So you're one of the melanin challenged pink people, eh?

I may lack melanin but I have plenty of color. I am in constant blush mode. <g>
