I think Rove may have sold Libby out to Fitz. It's been rumoured that he's had a high level source all along. Fitz STILL wants to get the slimeball, Rove, and is looking for something else to hang him on.

Rove is deeply connected to mountains of dirt in the chimpistration. To think that an extended investigation of Rove by a bulldog like Fitzgerald won't uncover crimes is laughable. This is VERY BAD NEWS for the White House, and good news for America. We've got a determined, professional prosecutor investigating these criminals.

If Rove did give Libby up to Fitz, it gives Fitxgerald a natural wedge to get in. The Dickster can't be happy. Libby was supposedly a very popular guy inside the WH, where the Turd Blossom is not. The secretive chimpistration has a thousand threads hanging, and an eager Fitzgerald doing the unravelling.

Not necessarily. Even if he were to cut some sort of deal, and all indications are that he has been in intense negotiations for the past couple of weeks, it doesn't mean he will get off scott free. As JF indicates, this is likely a sign that Rove's involvement is quite deep. With Scooter, it likely is restricted to Plame directly, Rove very well may have been involved with the Italians over the original yellowcake papers.

The following excerpt is from a CNN article. For the first time in weeks, Rove does not give off a nervous/harried appearance. I really think he's getting off. Fitzgerald isn't taking it any further. Its done. Libby might get indicted.......that's it.....period. Very sad.

"Thursday night, Rove appeared jovial as he pulled up in his Jaguar outside his home in Washington, where reporters and cameramen had gathered."
