IMHO, Libby will conspicuously fall on the sword and take the heat for everyone, and then he will be pardoned. It is the best chess move.

Today it was proven the White House lies. As if we didn't know that already. This case opens up all kinds of avenues for other investigations, all seeming to lead to Cheney. But Rove could still be indicted. His only defense is "I don't remember". That may not hold.

Even though Cheney is not indicted, this proves that Cheney was the original leaker and lied about it to Tim Russert on TV. He was the one with the intent to destroy Plame and protect his lies about WMD's. Cheney was the principal architect of the massive deception perped on the American People and congress to mislead us into a quagmire war. His own company made 10 billion bucks off that war. No bid contracts too. Very serious stuff.

Since it looks like the DEms will control at least one house of congress in a year, don't expect these issues to go uninvestigated. If Fitzgerald doesn't touch them, then congress will, even if Bush gets a one year grace period. But also don't forget about Abramoff, Frist and Delay.
