Baseball with have to adjust it's rules so that the nation doesn't just assume the Yankees will always win, or it will only have a limited audience. The series of the last two years are a help, but until cities around the nation feel like they have a chance to be at the top they aren't going to invest themselves emotionally in the game, especially if they have alternative sports where their team may excell. The smartest thing Football ever did was to give the losing teams the first draft pick. TP
