Covert, classified, clandestine, secret, same thing just different words. Plus she's in WMD in the Middle East which makes her ID particularly sensitive during war-time where WMD's are supposedly the main issue. Cheney-Libby and ROve blew all kinds of operations when they outed Plame. We'll never know how bad the damage is. But if it's WMD in the middle east, it's bad, and bad for our national defense. In short, this was treason. Deliberate treason. But the perjury and obstruction are the easiest to prove.
