The war on terror should never have included invading Iraq. That was a big lie. At the time Bush-Cheney pushed to invade, Saddam was neither allied with Al Qaida nor did he have any WMD. Of course frisking him good to make sure was smart, but occupying that country almost alone was sheer lunacy.

As a result we have actually made terrorists stronger and more numerous. Instead of wiping them out we've helped Osama types recruit thousands of new ones.

Many good honest people in this country were hoodwinked by the WMD lies and phony scare tactics. Next we will find out that Bush-Cheney deliberately lied to congress about the intel, doctoring it to fit their argument. It was primarily Cheney crafting this deception, backed by people like Libby, Bolton, Wolfowitz etc. Rice and Rumsfield were also implicated as was Bush himself. The "uranium in Niger" statement was proof that they were really being dishonest.

We also now know Bush-Cheney wanted to invade Iraq long before 9-11. Another kettle of rotten fish.
