You're saying that there are absolutely no takers for these buildings? That's incredible. Who owns those things, and how long can they hold out? I mean, the Inktomi has a view of the Bay and the City.

As for rentals $$2250 for a 4 br? Man thats cheap.

There's a reason. There's always a reason. I saw the pictures on the web. It's got hideous linoleum floors throughout, practically original 1958 kitchen, no backyard, and on and on. Before I saw the pictures, I thought, it couldn't be that bad, could it? Oh, it could. Will the owners remodel to justify the asking rent, lower the rent to an appropriate price, or hope a sucker comes along? I remain locked-in to my prop.-13-subsidized hovel.
