Ever hit the Couloirs at Blackcomb on parabolics? How long did you spend in the ER? well there a parabolics, and then there are parabolics.. ) You don't want to jump in with the super cuts that you can ski in circles on the groomed stuff, but parabolics like the Volkl G4's, or such are just perfect for couloirs.....and you're right, once you relearn weight shifting, leading with the hips, and keeping a quiet ski that you rollback and forth on....it's amazing what you can do on them. Off to Vietnam next week! Have a great time at Vail...
